We Are In The Days of Ishtar The most highly venerated demonic deity in Ancient Mesopotamia ( Babylon) was Inanna, who is also known as Ishtar. She is the demonic goddess of sexual perversion and witchery. Among her powers is to change a person’s gender. In The Movie Eyes Wide Shut was promoted as a steamy, suspenseful movie starring the “It” couple of the day: Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. While the actors were prominently featured in the movie, it is everything around them that told the true story of “Eyes Wide Shut”.  Final Thoughts The goal of this ancient celebration of androgyny was (and still is) to blur, and eventually obliterate, the clear distinctions between male and female genders and characteristics, so that everyone can became "one" with each other through what amounts to psycho-sexual confusion under the umbrella of religious worship and cultural celebrity.
