The Beginnings of Christmas
​The word “Christmas” doesn’t appear in the Bible.  And it didn’t appear until a thousand years after Christ, as declared by the Catholic Encyclopedia: “The word for Christmas in late Old English is Cristes Maesse,​ the Mass of Christ, was first found in 1038.”

The Catholic Church merged practices and traditions with pagan sun god worship in the 4th century.​
​The deception is in the attempt at mixing different faiths as a means of worshipping God with the practices ​and traditions of a pagan origin.  Some Christians love nothing more than to celebrate
​a good old fashion pagan holiday, and pass it off as their own.

Early Christians Once Banned Christmas.
Early ​Christians  in both England and New England believed that the state should protect and
​promote true religion and that religion should influence politics and social life.
Certain holidays were outlawed when christians came to power. In 1647,
Parliament outlawed the celebration of Christmas and Easter. Early Christians  strongly condemned the celebration of Christmas, considering it a Catholic invention.​​
​Most Americans today are unaware that Christmas ​was banned in Boston
from 1659 to 1681.

 It's the most pagan time of the year!

 The following are just some of the pagan gods  "demons"  
that had “birthdays,” along with very dark occult festivals, on December 25th: Mithras, Horus, Attis, Dionysus the son of Zeus, Tammuz, Hercules, Osiris, Perseus, Helios, Bacchus, Apollo, Jupiter, and
​Sol Invictus (The “Unconquered Sun”).

not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.

The Argument
Many will acknowledge the origins of Christmas, but will argue that it is not what it means to them; therefore,if they erect a tree and decorate it in their home, it means whatever they want it to mean even though ​it has everything has to do with fertility god worship. They then go on to say that they are
acknowledging and worshiping ​God instead. The question that needs to be asked is:
Can we worship God in the ways that pagans worship their gods?

​For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.
​1 Peter 4:3​
Yet you have not merely walked in their ways or behaved in accordance with their pagan practices;
​but, as if that were too little, you soon acted more corruptly in all your ways than they.
​Ezekiel 16:47

You shall not bow down to worship their gods, nor serve them,
nor do anything in accordance with their practices. You shall completely overthrow
them and break down their sacred pillars and images of pagan worship.
​Exodus 23:24
